Objective of the Budget
The Annual Budget of Kalpetta Block Panchayat for the year 2026–27 has been prepared with emphasis on people’s participation, social justice, and comprehensive development. The budget aims to make maximum use of available resources and improve the quality of life of the people.

Initiatives aimed at ensuring safe and complete housing for all.
🏥 Healthcare
Projects aimed at improving the basic infrastructure and quality of services in healthcare institutions.
🌾 Agriculture
Priority is given to the development of agriculture, dairy farming, paddy cultivation, and other productive sectors.
👩 Women’s Development
Projects promoting women’s self-employment, entrepreneurship, and economic security.
💧 Drinking Water
Priority is given to various projects aimed at ensuring access to safe drinking water.
🛣️ Infrastructure
Development of basic infrastructure such as roads, walkways, public buildings, and other essential facilities.
Social Welfare & Inclusive Development
The budget includes projects giving special consideration to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, persons with disabilities, senior citizens, women, children, and other socially disadvantaged sections of society.
